NAVIGATOR

Terms of Use

Effective date: March 2026

1. Not for Clinical Use

NAVIGATOR is a research and auditing tool developed by the PALS Lab at Johns Hopkins University. It is not intended for clinical decision-making, diagnosis, treatment planning, or any other direct patient-care purpose. Outputs produced by this platform— including scores, labels, and rankings—must not be used to guide medical, psychiatric, or behavioral-health decisions for any individual. If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare provider or call a crisis helpline immediately.

2. User Responsibility

By accessing NAVIGATOR you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for how you interpret and act upon any results, labels, or scores generated by the platform. Automated scores reflect the output of multi-agent AI pipelines and may contain errors. You must apply your own professional judgment and domain expertise when using or reporting on any outputs. The platform is provided to support research workflows; it does not replace expert review.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the PALS Lab, Johns Hopkins University, and their respective officers, employees, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of—or inability to use—this platform, including but not limited to reliance on platform outputs, data loss, or business interruption. The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

4. Upstream Dataset Licenses

NAVIGATOR surfaces datasets hosted on HuggingFace Hub and elsewhere. Each dataset is governed by its own license, which may restrict commercial use, redistribution, or derivative works. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the license of every dataset you access through this platform. The PALS Lab makes no representation that any dataset is free for unrestricted use. Common licenses you may encounter include CC BY 4.0, CC BY-NC 4.0, MIT, Apache 2.0, and dataset-specific research-only licenses. Links to original dataset pages are provided on each dataset card for your reference.

5. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
